Welcome to Frank
Kilkelly's guide to the accompaniment of Irish dance music on guitar.
is the new, comprehensive guide
for guitar players everywhere. A range of four different tunings is
covered, along with suggestions on right hand styles suited to each
tuning.
There are sections on the basis of effective
accompaniment, practice advice, profiles of leading players and, in
addition, Frank takes a close look at the accompaniment used on the
recording, which is recorded especially for this book and
features guitar accompaniment to some excellent melody players.
The book & CD can be ordered from our online shop / secure server.

It is designed for those who
have a basic grasp of some chords and some strumming ability on the guitar. It is
not assumed that you know much about the structure of Irish music and so this book will also
be of use if you are a competent guitarist in other styles.
Testimonials & Satisfied Customer Quotes
"In three months, I've made a lot of progress. (I play guitar but I'm used to blues/rock and pop songs.) Unlike others, this production is
very complete, full of good advice and very very understandable tips. The CD is well recorded, you hear exactly what he plays and the
notation is 99% suited to the CD, which is rarely the case with other methods. I am a teacher in science and mathematics, very demanding
about clearness and with this book I found exactly what I was looking for." Gervais Pradervand, Switzerland
"There are a few instructional series out on the market now but yours is truly the best I have come across.
You have a great teaching style, something that is lacking in other books" Lin Shields Swicker
"Just a note to say thanks for getting my copy of your book to me so quickly. Really enjoying it.
I'm particularly pleased with the musicality of the recordings." Dan Leighton
